        The short version: Finalytica does not collect, store, or transmit any of your financial data. All calculations happen in your browser. We have no access to any numbers you enter.
      

1. Who We Are

Finalytica ("we", "our", "us") is a free browser-based business finance calculator available at finalytica.io. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about what little data we handle.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, process, or have any access to:

Any financial figures you enter into the calculator
Your business name, revenue, costs, or any other financial data
The contents of any .fincalc files you save or load
PDF reports you generate

All calculations are performed entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server at any point.

3. Data We Do Collect

We collect minimal, anonymous data to understand how the tool is being used:

Analytics: We use privacy-friendly analytics (page views and general usage patterns). This data is aggregated and anonymous — it does not identify you personally.
Browser information: Basic technical information such as browser type and screen size may be collected to help us improve the tool.

4. Cookies and Advertising

Finalytica displays advertisements to support the free service. Our advertising partners (including Google AdSense) may use cookies to serve relevant ads based on your browsing activity across websites.

These cookies are set by third-party advertising networks, not by Finalytica directly. You can opt out of personalized advertising through:

5. Your Files Stay on Your Device

When you use "Save Progress", a .fincalc file is downloaded directly to your device. When you use "Load Progress", the file is read locally in your browser. At no point is any file content transmitted to our servers or any third party.

6. Third-Party Services

Finalytica uses the following third-party services:

Vercel — website hosting. Vercel may log standard web server information such as IP addresses and request times for security purposes.
Google AdSense — advertising. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Chart.js and jsPDF — loaded from CDN (Cloudflare). Standard CDN access logs may apply.

7. Children's Privacy

Finalytica is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. Continued use of Finalytica after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
